    Mary Ann Hughes will present on ways to support parents of children with autism in mediations and family transitions. Divorce is hard but introducing it to children on the autism spectrum doesn’t have to be. Mary Ann will discuss her recently released children’s book “My Parents’ Divorce Through My Eyes: Helping Children with Autism Understand Divorce.” She will also share her recent TEDx experience.

Who Are We?

The Association for Conflict Resolution is the international organization for Alternative Dispute Resolution professionals, a professional organization dedicated to the practice and public understanding of conflict resolution.


The Association for Conflict Resolution – Houston Chapter (ACRH), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and conflict management, supports and develops professionals, while educating our community about the many uses and benefits of ADR. ACRH is comprised of: mediators, lawyers, arbitrators, doctors, facilitators, counselors, human resource employee relations professionals, administrators, psychotherapists, psychologists, peacemakers, ombudspersons, negotiators, academics, business owners, police officers, and other professionals who practice, teach, and promote dispute resolution.
